Newton’s Cradle – Buckley Building

Situated in Clerkenwell, London, the over-scaled ‘Newton’s Cradle’ is a mechanically functioning mimic of the popular desktop ornament. The piece is comprised of polished stainless steel spheres housing up-lighting luminaires, and is suspended from the ceiling and put into motion with the same drive mechanisms used in the wings of an Airbus A380.
